It's a philosophy based on flexibility. Whether you are a beginner or a world-class player, your golf will benefit most from an individual approach based on what you want from the game and what you are trying to achieve - whether that's getting the ball into the air or lowering your 18-hole score average by a single stroke. Is there scope for flexibility in teaching? Of course. Sure, physics determines what the club has to do to the ball to make it fly long and straight for every golfer, and that is never going to change. And certainly there are proven efficient ways to execute the stroke and principles that exist in good golf swings. Click to read more...

However, the evidence in front of our eyes proves that your swing does not have to be technically perfect for you to play excellent golf. There are tolerances you can work within that will still afford a swing that produces all the great shots you dream about. Each year throws up different trends in methods, the latest fads on tour and in coaching. Golf is ultimately about what the ball does and your ability to repeat, control and hopefully hit it a little less often than your opponents irrespective of the system or method you are using. I have a very open mind to ideas old and new from purely ball flight coaching to the latest biomechanical analysis as long as it consistently gets the job done. This doesn’t mean I don’t have preferences or things I really would like to see in a technique but it still comes down to how consistently well can the implement be applied to the ball for the relevant shot.

Adrian FryerMy flexible approach extends to all aspects of the game. Golfers often turn to coaching with the sole intention of striking the ball better. Of course, learning to strike the ball well is one piece of the jigsaw, but to reach your full potential you need to master other areas of playing golf. I can also help you master your short game, putting and course management. Link all these together while developing a good mental approach to playing and practising and you will begin to gain control over the three S's; Striking, Shotmaking and Scoring.

My busy coaching schedule does not allow me to convey all my beliefs, based on experience of studying more than 30,000+ different swings and giving as many lessons from beginner to pro. You will see some old and new samples of my instruction articles that have featured in the successful Team TG and Golf Doctors series in Britain's best selling golf magazine Today's Golfer over the last 3 years. Also on the site will be success stories of many of the growing band of talented players I am fortunate to coach. There is also a list of useful links to major golfing organisations, companies and services plus recommended websites of respected experts in swing technique, mental toughness and golf fitness.

It's my belief this content will give you the tools and the inspiration to take your game to the next level. My sole objective is to get golfers playing their full potential - I hope you are ready to be one of them.
